Valuables worth Tk 1.5 lakh burnt
Valuables worth about Tk 1.5 lakh were gutted as a fire broke out at a Shershah Colony shop in Chittagong city early yesterday.
Fire officials said the fire might have started from an electric short circuit in the crockery shop housed in a tin-roofed concrete building.
The flames lasted about an hour till fire fighters from Bayezid fire station doused them around 5:30am.
