Death anniversary
Today is the sixth death anniversary of Siddiqa Begum, former principle of Kishoreganj Girls' High School and wife of Deputy Magistrate Shamsuddin Ahmed, a noted martyr of the Liberation War. On the occasion, a doa and milad mahfil will be held at 'Deputy House' in Kishoreganj, the paternal home of the deceased, said a press release. Captain Salauddin Ahmed Shelu, the eldest son of Siddiqa, has requested all to attend the programme to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
