Woman killed in Manikganj road crash
An elderly woman was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Dhulandi in Ghior upazila in yesterday afternoon.
The victim was Batashi Begum, 65, of Saturia upazila.
Police said the accident occurred at around 4:30pm when a Dhaka-bound private car ran over her while she was crossing the road, leaving her dead on the spot.
