Road crashes kill 3
Three people were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Chittagong, Faridpur and Jessore on Saturday and yesterday.
Staff correspondent from Chittagong reports: Syedul Karim, 30, was killed and another injured as a pickup-van hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw from the opposite direction at Magnama Bazar of the upazila in Cox's Bazar on Saturday night.
Injured Rezaul was undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
In Faridpur, Sayem Dewan, 45, an employee of Modhukhali Upazila Health Complex, was killed instantly when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus knocked down his motorbike on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Kharakandi area in Bhanga upazila yesterday.
Our Narail correspondent says: Abdul Jumadder was killed instantly as a truck crushed him in Sankorpur area in Jessore municipality at around 9:30pm on Saturday.
