Burglary at Teletalk Ctg office
Burglars allegedly looted Tk 1.18 lakh from an office of telecom operator Teletalk at Dampara in Chittagong city yesterday.
Zakaria Ahmed Bakee, deputy manager of the office, said, burglars entered the office located on the first floor of Idris Tower breaking the locks on the building's emergency gate and the office door around 6:00am to 7:00am.
They broke open the office cabinets and drawers and stole the cash, he said.
However, they did not take other items from the office like mobile phones, laptops, computers, SIM cards, prepaid cards and documents, he added.
Police suspect the involvement of a robbery gang with the incident.
