Two die in Kushtia
Two people, including a woman, died in separate incidents in Kushtia yesterday.
In an incident, body of an unidentified woman was found floating in a pond in Kushtia Police Line area.
Kazi Jalal Uddin, officer-in-charge at Model Police Station, said they recovered the body from the pond around 9:30am, and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for an autopsy.
In another incident, a man died yesterday after being hurt by another man at Moyrampur village in Daulatpur upazila.
Police said Sidur attacked in the head of Imarul at one stage of altercation as Imarul demanded return lending money from Saidur on Thursday.
Imarul was rushed to Rajshai Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
