TIB human chain urges youth to play anti-corruption role
On the occasion of the International Youth Day, the country's young generation were urged to come forward to eradicate corruption from society.
Speakers made the call at a human chain held in front of Teacher-Student Centre on Dhaka University (DU) campus yesterday.
Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) organised the programme marking the International Youth Day that falls today.
The day will be globally observed this year on the theme “Building a better world, partnering with youth.”
Speakers said youth can play the most vital role in removing society's negative systems and disparities.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique and TIB Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman also addressed the programme.
