Indispensable post office

Although post offices in the advanced countries are facing closure due to the development of email and other quick electronic services, I have enough reason to justify the importance and promotion of our post offices. Ordinary people plus government organisations are still dependent on post offices for their correspondences and communication. Of course the habit of writing letters has diminished. Still post offices are not sitting idle. They are trying to adjust with the modern digital world. One of the excellent services the post offices are now providing is electronic money order. They are offering this service in collaboration with a mobile phone company. It is known that efforts are on way to involve some more private electronic money transferring organisations into the electronic money-order system. But before selecting certain company(s) the authorities concerned need to examine all the pros and cons so that this service may not face any drawback. Further, necessary projects should be undertaken to strengthen the post office services including enhancing the skills of the post office staff. If run efficiently our post offices can earn huge revenue for the government.
