Autistic boy drowns in capital
An autistic boy drowned in Satarkul Namapara jheel in Badda area of the capital yesterday.
The deceased Shariar Roudro, 10, a resident of Darogabari in the area.
Roudro's mother Ferdousi Begum said he went out of home around 12:00 noon yesterday without anyone's concern.
Later, tenants of the house informed them that Roudro had drowned in the nearby jheel, she added.
With the help of their neighbours, they rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was declared dead.
