Human chain for medical college admission tests
Admission seekers to medical colleges formed a human chain in Chittagong city demanding cancellation of the decision of not holding admission tests in government and private medical colleges in the country.
The Health and Family Welfare Ministry yesterday decided to enroll students only based on their SSC and HSC results.
Students who passed in this year's HSC and equivalent examinations, and seeking enrolment in medical colleges took part in the programme held in front of Chittagong Press Club around 5:00pm.
Many of the deserving students will be deprived of getting admissions because of the new enrolment process, though had taken preparation to sit in the admission test, they said.
