Two 'robbers' held in Ctg
Police arrested two alleged robbers and seized a firearm raiding Uttar Madrasa area in Hathazari upazila yesterday and Tuesday.
They are Md Shahjahan, 35, of Uttar Madrasa area and Golam Rasul, 34, of Bagerhat district.
Police recovered a locally made rifle, three cartridges, and two big knives from a machinery shop owned by Shahjahan in the Madrasa area.
Shahjahan was arrested on Tuesday. He led police to Rasul yesterday. Police said they were members of an inter-district robber gang led by Shahjahan.
