JU admission tests from Oct 13
The admission tests for the first year honours courses in 2012-13 academic sessions at Jahangirnagar University (JU) will begin from October 13.
JU source said admission seekers can apply for the admission test by sending SMS from any prepaid number of mobile phone operator Teletalk between September 11 and October 3.
The process for sending SMS is "JU>first three character of HSC board>HSC roll>year of HSC> first three character of SSC board> SSC roll>year of SSC>desired unit keyword>keyword of quota (if have) and send to 16222".
Candidates will have to pay Tk 400 for applying for the faculties of social science, mathematical and physical science, biological science, and business studies.
While, they have to pay Tk 300 for taking tests in the faculties of law, IBA-JU and institute of information technology.
To take admission tests in each sub-unit of arts and humanities faculty, students have to pay Tk 200.
Students, who have passed the secondary or equivalent examinations in 2009, will also get the opportunity to sit in the tests.
