Nani Gopal Saha
Entrepreneur Nani Gopal Saha passed away due to cardiac arrest at his residence in Ghat Farhadbeg of Chittagong on Thursday. He was 83.
His body was cremated at Sankar Math of Sitakunda yesterday.
He left behind his wife, three daughters and three sons.
Saha was the chairman and managing director of NG Saha Steel Industries (Pvt) Limited, NGS Cement Industries Limited and NGS Steel Industries Limited.
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Mohammad Manjur Alam, former CCC mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Chittagong Development Authority Chairman Abdus Salam and Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Morshed Murad Ibrahim expressed deep condolence at Saha's demise.
