Man's body recovered from Teesta River in Rangpur
The body of a man was recovered from Teesta River in Mohipur area of Gangachhara upazila in Rangpur on Thursday.
Police said they recovered the body of Shahidul Islam, 28, of Koipara village in the upazila, floating in the river, and sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Family members of the deceased said Shahidul went out of his house on Wednesday night and since then he did not return home.
Police suspect that Shahidul was killed by some miscreants on that night.
A case was filed with Gangachhara Police Station in this connection.
