20 defence officers to join study tour in India today
A delegation of 20 senior officers from the three defence services of Bangladesh, including 10 foreign officers from National Defence College (NDC), will attend a five-day study tour in India from today.
Brig Gen Latiful Haider, senior instructor of NDC, will lead the delegation, said a press release of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka yesterday.
During the visit, the delegation members will visit the Air Force Base in Agra and a field formation in Jaipur.
The will meet the foreign secretary of India in New Delhi and also share experiences with the Indian officers there.
They will visit India's premier Defence Research and Development Organisation and the Confederation of Indian Industry.
