Different organisations protest anti-Islam film
Protesting an anti-Islam film that sparked protests and rioting in the Arab world, different organisations yesterday demanded punishment to the film's makers.
The crudely made video, filmed in California and circulated on the Internet under several titles including “Innocence of Muslims”, portrays the Prophet Mohammad engaged in crude and offensive behaviour.
Bangladesh Juba NAP Secretary General Golam Mostafa Bhuyan, in a press statement, urged the government to place a censure motion against the film in parliament and threatened to go for tougher movement if the demand was not met.
Bangladesh Jamiyat Ahl-al-hadith and Bangladesh Jalali Party, in separate statements, also condemned the film.
