Woman dies from electrocution
A housewife died allegedly from electrocution at her residence in the capital's Pallabi yesterday.
The deceased was Nahid Begum, 40, wife of metal scrap trader Md Shakil.
Quoting her husband, police said Nahid was electrocuted while switching on the electric water pump of her house around 8:00am.
Nahid's husband rushed her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
An Unnatural Death case was filed with Pallabi Police Station in this connection.
