Doctor killed in Cox's Bazar
A homeopathy doctor was found murdered at his chamber in Pekua upazila of Cox's Bazar yesterday.
The deceased, Haradhan Das, 65, hailed from Fakir Jhil area in Satkania upazila of Chittagong and resided at his chamber named “National Homeo” in Pekua Bazar.
Locals found his chamber door open and his body lying on the floor yesterday morning, said Pekua police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
The body bore injury marks on the head and a cloth piece was tied around the throat, police said.
Police could not yet identify the motive behind the murder or the killers.
