Family members of a schoolgirl, who was murdered at her house in the capital Monday, have said the killers, thought to be some acquaintances of the family, might have learned from her written daily routine when she stayed home alone. Tasnin Rahman Karobi, 13, a class VI student at Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Rifles College, was found with her throat slit at their apartment in Hazaribagh around 5:30pm Monday. Her family members yesterday said Karobi never did open the door without being sure that the visitor was known to her and her family. She used to stay alone in the afternoons and always maintained her routine, they said, adding that the killers might have looked through her routine. According to her routine, Karobi used to study at home from 1:30pm after returning from the school. She was killed sometime between 3:30pm and 5:30pm after their housemaid left her alone at 3:30pm. Her parents, both of them lawyers, used to be at court from morning to evening on working days. Karobi's father filed a case with Hazaribagh Police Station early yesterday. No one was arrested yet.
