Why these atrocities against Rakhine Muslims?

I am writing this letter to condemn the recent attacks on the Muslims made by the Buddhists in Myanmar. The recent attacks on the Rohingyas were heinous and the way the government of Myanmar is handling the situation is very appalling. The Buddhists also set fire to two mosques in Western Myanmar. If we have sound knowledge about both the religions, then we would know that both the religions teach of peace and living in harmony with one another. Through this letter I also condemn the imprisonment of a Bangladeshi in the USA. I do not know why the practicing Muslims are always targeted in the US. There are a lot of innocent Muslims imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay only on the basis of mere suspicion. Iraq has been destroyed on the basis of a mere suspicion against Saddam Hussein of possessing illegal arms. Unfortunately, the Muslims around the globe are silent; no one is speaking against the aggression. Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said, "Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or he is oppressed." His companions said, "We know how to help an oppressed, but how do we help an oppressor?" He (pbuh) replied, "Help the oppressor by making him refrain from oppressing people." May Allah Subhanuwataa'la give us the ability to follow the right path.
