Indo-Bangla talks on Kurigram border dispute begins today
A four-member Indian delegation today sits with their Bangladesh counterpart to settle down demarcation on border areas in the district.
The Indian team led by Director (Land Records) of Asam province in India Sayed Iftikhar arrived in Kurigram yesterday to attend the four-day meeting.
Director General of Land Record of Bangladesh Mahfuzar Rahman will lead the Bangladesh team.
The meeting will take place at the hall room of Terre de Homes in Kurigram.
The main purpose of the meeting is to settle the demarcation Between Bangladesh and India, said the deputy commissioner of Kurigram district.
The two teams will visit border areas from Fulbari to Roumari in the district and settle the demarcation issue.
