Correct info in draft voter list by tomorrow

The Election Commission (EC) authorities will receive applications for correction, addition or omission in the draft voter list of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) till tomorrow.
All necessary official formalities for correcting the draft list is likely to be completed by March 16, official sources said.
EC published the draft list on February 18.
The number of voters stood at 2,54,000 this time against 1,82,000 of 2003 when the first city corporation election was held, said Sylhet divisional deputy election commissioner Khondaker Mizanur Rahman.
Voters have been asked to correct faults and mistakes, if any, in the draft list. They may send objections, correction and omission by March 5. The list will be finalised on March 24, Mizanur Rahman said.
The deputy election commissioner of Sylhet and additional deputy commissioner (general) will look into the disputes and do the corrections in the list. They will complete the work by March 16.
