Obituary
Asfia Khatun Pia, wife of Monzur Hussain Choudhury, a retired director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), died in Fort Myers, Florida, USA, on Tuesday, after prolonged illness. She was 74.
She left behind her husband and four sons, says a press release.
Pia, the only daughter of ex-minister late Abdul Matin Choudhury of Sylhet was buried at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers yesterday.
