SI closed for torturing arrestee
Sub-inspector (SI) Delwar Hussain of Rajnagar police station has been closed to Moulvibazar police line for torturing an arrestee.
Syed Ahsan Akter Dulon, son of Advocate Syed Ali Akter of Kadamhata village under Rajnagar upazila was arrested by police following a complaint lodged by his neighbor Shamima Sultana Tarafder over land dispute on March 4.
The SI was closed as Dulon's father Syed Ali Akter lodged a complaint with the superintendent of police (SP) of Moulvibazar alleging torture on his son.
