Arrest of all accused demanded
Speakers at a rally yesterday threatened to block Dhaka-Sylhet highway if all the accused who sexually harassed a schoolgirl at Nurpur in Habiganj are not arrested.
The rally was preceded by a two-killometre human chain from Nasratpur railway crossing to Sutang bridge on the highway. A large number of school students and teachers joined it.
A case was filed with Shaistaganj police against five men for harassing the girl near her Nurpur High School on January 30.
Earlier, police arrested the prime accused Farid Mia, a brick kiln worker.
The victim's family said the rest of the accused were threatening them.
