Don't recognise dental technicians
Dental students urge BMDC
Students and interns of the Dental unit of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) yesterday staged demonstrations to press home six-point demand, including not providing membership of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) to dental technicians.
Around 200 students and interns brought out a procession in the port city and later closed the hospital's gate for half an hour around noon, said CMCH sources.
They opened the gate around 1:00pm after CMCH Director Brig Gen Shahidul Gani assured them of informing their demands to the authorities concerned.
