Sust celebrates 22nd founding anniversary
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) in Sylhet celebrated its 22nd founding anniversary yesterday.
Teachers, students, officials and staff brought a colorful procession from in front the university's vice-chancellor's residence around 9:30am.
After marching on the main streets of the campus, the procession ended at the Mukttamancha where they held a rally.
Sust Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Elias Uddin Bishwas, and eminent writer and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department Head Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, among others, addressed the rally.
