Obituary
Quazi Jafrul Islam, former vice-president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, died of cancer at his residence in Chittagong city yesterday. He was 73.
He left behind his wife, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard yesterday after Asr prayers in Mirsarai upazila following his second namaz-e-janaza.
