3rd Ruet convocation today
The third convocation of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet) will be held today to give certificates to the graduates from 1996-97 to 2002-2003 sessions.
President Prof Iajuddin Ahmed, also the chancellor of the universities, will be present as the chief guest at the convocation ceremony and distribute certificates among the graduates.
He will also hand over gold medals to the first class first position holders in different departments.
Prof Dr Mozaffar Hossen, a former vice chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, will deliver the convocation speech while eminent educationists, intellectuals, engineers and civil society members will be present on the occasion.
