Students vow to fight corruption
Students of different schools at a meeting held yesterday in Khoksa upazila town took vow to remain vigilant against corruption so that they can keep themselves away from all kinds of corrupt practices.
Khoksa Upazila Corruption Resistance Committee (CRC) organized the meeting titled, 'Consciousness of Future Nation Builders to Protect Corruption.' Held at Khoksa Pilot High School hall room, the meeting was chaired by Khoksa Upazila Corruption Resistance Committee president Fazlul Haque.
Students expressed their determination to resist corruption at any cost even though their parents or near ones are involved in corruption. They also promised to ask their friends to raise voice against corruption.
Among others, former vice-principal of Khoksa College Rabindranath Biswas, Ohiduzzaman, Advocate Ashraf Ali, schoolteacher Matiur Rahman, Samima Akter Banu and Khkosa Press Club general secretary Monirl Islam addressed.
Students from different schools in the upaizla took part in the meeting.
