Air pollution <br>a serious health hazard

Air pollution is a serious health hazard for many dwellers of Hazaribag in the city. An unstable and changing climate has affected tremendously our health. Climate-sensitive diseases such as diarrhoea, malaria etc. have already increased significantly and there is risks of more deaths. There will be devastating indirect impacts on food crops and the availability of fresh water. Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries that will face the earliest and the hardest hit due to climate change. It is the high time to stand against it. Photo: Dr Tareq Salahuddin
