New director of BINA
Nuclear scientist Dr Md Sayedur Rahman has been appointed as the new director (Administration and Support services) of Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA).
Earlier he was the chief scientific officer and research coordinator of BINA.
As a brilliant student, Dr Rahman secured first class at all levels of his education life. He did his PhD from Philippines with distinctions. He served as the head of Agronomy Department and made good contribution as the coordinator of research activities of BINA. He is a pioneer of development of at least 20 technologies of BINA..
Under his guidance, many students including from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) have received their PhD and MS degrees. Some 45 research articles written by Dr Rahman were published in national and international journals.
