RU JCD demands release of Khaleda, Hasina
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) at Rajshahi University yesterday stages a demonstration on the campus for release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina before Pohela Boishakh (first day of Bangla new year).
They also formed a human chain in front of central library to press the demand and for security of Zia family.
After human chain, the JCD activists brought a procession on the campus.
At the rally, JCD activities also protested price hike of essentials including rice.
The also called upon the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to declare schedule for general election.
