Land official held for bribery
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) yesterday arrested a land settlement official of Gobindaganj upazila for bribery.
Following allegations of bribery against Abdul Hye, an official of Gobindaganj Land Settlement Office, plain clothed Rab personnel led by Major Shah Ali went to Gobindaganj Settlement Office and caught Abdul Hye red-handed when he was taking Tk 3,800 as bribe for settling a land dispute.
