4 more PWs testify
Four more prosecution witnesses in the five August 17 serial bomb blast cases gave statements before a court in Satkhira yesterday in presence of 11 out of 19 charge-sheeted accused.
Trial of the cases resumed yesterday amid tight security. The cases in Satkhira are being tried over three years after the countrywide blasts done by JMB (Jamaat'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh) in 2005.
Judge Mahbubul Alam of Additional Sessions Judge's court recorded statements of the four prosecution witnesses and fixed April 28 for next hearing.
The four witnesses were Anisur Rahim, Omar Ali, Alamgir Hossain and Abdul Aziz
Trial of the five cases began on February 14.
