JCD leader held in Moulvibazar
Police arrested Mizanur Rahman Mizan, president of Moulvibazar district unit of Jatyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP on Monday night from Chawmuhana area of Moulvibazar district town. He is also the Vice President of JCD central committee. The Mizan was arrested under emergency power act, Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Faruk Ahmed said. Mizanur Rahman Mizan, who was once very close to former finance minister M Saifur Rahman and his son former lawmaker Naser Rahman, recently extended his support to pro-Khaleda group of BNP led by Khandaker Delawar, party sources said.
