Bodies of college teacher, NGO official found in Khulna
Decomposed bodies of missing Prof Arabinda Das and NCO official Alamgir Hossain were recovered yesterday from the bank of Darhatana river and Muniganj ferry ghat in Bagerhat Sadar upazila.
Their bodies were handed over to their relatives without autopsy.
Prof Arabinda Das, 38, of Bagerhat Girls College and Alamgir Hossain had been missing since capsize of an engine boat in Bhairab river at Muniganj during a nor'wester Friday night.
They were among eight others in the engine boat. One person drowned killed and two others were injured when the boat capsized in the river.
Runa Das, wife of Prof Arabinda Das, was among the two injured. She was released from hospital after recovery of her husband's body.
