LG seized in Mohalchhari
4 UPDF men sent to jail
An army team yesterday recovered an LG and a three not three rifle bullet from remote Hazachhara under Mohalchhari upazila in Khagrachhari district.
Sensing the presence of army terrorist fled away, Mohalchhari police said.
The three UPDF men arrested on Sunday have been sent to jail yesterday while another bullet-injured person was admitted to hospital for treatment at Laxmichhari upazila in hill district Khagrachhari. They are Chatallah Chakma 24, Bimol Tripura, Mitu Marma, 22, and bullet-hit Kayaching Kahala Marma, 25.
Under interrogation, they admitted to their involvement with toll collection on behalf of UPDF in the area, police said.
