Mother, son, daughter acid-burnt
A housewife and her two children suffered serious burn injuries as rivals threw acid when they were sleeping at the veranda of their house at village Majgram in Magura Sadar upazila early yesterday.
The victims -- Rahela Begum 35, wife of Omar Ali, her son Abdus Samad, 18, and her daughter Sathi, 10, -- were admitted to Magura Sadar Hospital.
Rahela told this correspondent that their rivals made the acid attack following a conflict over a piece of land.
