3 more cases filed in Khulna
Three more cases were filed on Friday midnight in connection with violent incidents among Khulna University (KU) students, workers of transport services and police with Sonadanga police station under Khulna city and Batiaghata police station under Khulna district.
One of the cases was filed with Sonadanga police station by Khulna Divisional Motor Sramik Union president Kazi Nurul Islam. He named Momtaz, Moni, Javed, Ivan and 500 Khulna University unidentified student as accused.
Another case was filed with the same police station by its officer-in-charge (OC) Fakrul Islam.
The same night police filed a case against 200 unidentified persons for attack on the law enforcers near Khulna University while they were on duty on Friday.
Khulna University registrar Prof Dr Nazrul Islam was the first to file a case against to transport workers' leaders.
