One to die for killing wife
Additional District and Sessions Judge's Court in Chapainawabganj yesterday sentenced a man to death for killing wife.
The convict, Ismail, 33, of Shishatola at Alatuli village under Sadar upazila in the district, was also fined Tk 5,000.
Ismail killed his wife Ayesha Begum with a sharp weapon at their Shishatola residence on February 12 in 2003.
