Birshreshtha Abdur Rouf Museum opens tomorrow

A library and a memorial museum named after Brishreshtha Lance Nayek Munshi Abdur Rouf will be inaugurated tomorrow at the martyr's village Roufnagar (former Salamatpur) in Modhukhali upazila of the district . Lt Col (retd) Mir Sawkat Ali, Bir Uttam, a sector commander during the Liberation War, will address the function as chief guest. Sheikh Khurshid Alam, secretary, local government department, Nasiruddin Ahmed, secretary, ministry of Liberation War, Col AKM Ohiduzzaman , PSC, BDR commander in Khulna and martyr Abdur Rouf's mother Mokidunnesa will attend as special guests at the function with Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Yahya Bhuiyan in the chair. Faridpur Shilpakala Academy and local artistes will render cultural function at the inauguration programme.
