Why this discrimination?

Teachers play an important role in building up the nation. And only the teachers of government institutions don't play this role . Teachers of non-government institutions also have their contribution to the process. Besides, the role of non-government teachers is no less important than that of the teachers of govt. institutions in spreading knowledge among the learners. So, if any facility is provided to the educational institutions, it should be given to both categories of teachers. But we have watched one thing in the national budget that the dearness allowance has been declared only for those who are govt. service holders. As a result, we, non-govt. teachers, engaged in various educational institutions are deprived of this facility. I cannot but mention a point here that the students who are really better than that of rural areas enrol themselves in govt. institutions. I am not denying that there are no good students in schools or colleges in the rural areas. But their number is not so high. The teachers in the rural areas should be provided with more and more facilities and discrimination should be removed between the teachers of govt. and non-govt. institutions.
