The country was going through a tough time, an intolerable political confusion. There seemed to be no way to get out of the situation that we've been through. Every party wanted power. Look carefully at the people around you. See, people nowadays don't have many grudges and complaints like they had in those days. Even a chronic cynic would think twice before saying, "Ah, those were the days!" Yes, the price hike is a bottleneck, we're coming to that. So far, in these days of the CTG there have been problems, and there have been some remedies. But some problems remained unsolved and the condition remained unchanged. Like, the problem of price hike which seemed to be an unending one. And when you are in a situation where the price hike and inflation are going on worldwide, it is impossible to change things overnight. However, this letter is not for criticising or praising the CTG. It's just an attempt to draw a line between the two situations. Honestly, When the CTG first came, it was like a relief. And it was a big time success to take the lead at that point of time. It seemed the government really wants to bring a change. People still like the CTG. As citizens, we hope for a good and honest leadership to emerge in the days ahead.
