No doubt, most of the police officers perform their duties with honesty, sincerity and, above all, love for the country. But what happened on 27 June is quite humiliating not only for the police, it is also a great embarrassment for the nation. While he is supposed to be the protector of others, he is stealing things! We know an ordinary Bangladeshi taxi driver in America sent back the valuables to the owner that he could easily keep for himself. But he did not do that. He was honest!
