Humour and satire

I think a lot of interesting events and characters are emerging in our political arena. These can easily be produced as live comedy serial in the media networks. I am sure this would be popular and commercially viable, and our aesthetic values would receive a new dimension. Our talented drama scriptwriters might consider this. Here are a few ideas: Visit an office in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. There you will meet some sophisticated people. They seem to devote a lot of time to dress code, but are less serious about their prime responsibility. Do not be surprised if you find huge stacks of lists with identity information and photos in their archives which could not be put to intended use due to some unavoidable problems. The question is what can be done with such a big unused stock of lists. The critics suggest that the " Match Makers" can probably make some limited use provided they have access to this list! Any way these would be outdated and redundant after the election year is over (?) Comedy and satire are two powerful media for effective communication. Stress-less environment brings longevity. The intention is not to hurt or humiliate anybody or disrespect any law of the land, but to enjoy the freedom of expression and information. Those who might be the centre piece in the drama serial should have high level of tolerance and the sense of humour to live with it.
