I would like to thank the letter writer (under the above caption).
All these years, the developers/builders have been having field days by cheating the apartment buyers through various means by keeping a certain section of the political establishment & bureaucrats 'happy'.
Now that the present caretaker government has laid down some rules to safeguard the interest of the innocent buyers of apartments, the sky has fallen on the builders/developers.
The government should in fact completely ban any further demolition of old buildings for construction of apartment blocks or construction on vacant plots for the same purpose till such time REHAB/builders come to their senses & give an undertaking to the government to strictly abide by the new rules.
