Tipaimukh Dam

Unilateral construction of Tipaimukh Dam by India, in addition to Farakka barrage, is not only violation of int'l law but it will also have impact on the environment, ecosystem, life and livelihood in the downstream region. But, I wonder, political parties of Bangladesh and the so-called civil society are keeping mum about the issue. Therefore, shall we see that in near future our green country will turn into a barren desert?
