Moriarty launches IPAC project in Rangamati
US Ambassador James F Moriarty said ethnic communities in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) contributed a lot to enriching Bangladesh's culture and tradition.
Despite massive destruction of forests resources in CHT, there are still huge potentialities to conserve and develop natural resources and wildlife, he said.
Moriarty was addressing the launching ceremony of IPAC (Integrated Protected Area Co-Management) project as chief guest at Rangamati Tribal Culture Institute yesterday evening.
