Doctor's blunder
Death is inevitable. The only truth. As we are born, so we die. Accordingly, our friend, our younger sister, lost her life on 25th Jan night at a hospital in Mirpur. But it is not acceptable when a healthy sparkling young woman dies because of appendicitis surgery. It is known to all that appendicitis surgery is a very normal procedure but it is very complicated if not taken care of properly.
As per report published in the newspapers, there is some confusion with the treatment and now we have seen the protest in the street and tele media generated by the anger and sadness of the relatives and friends. There are also some other complaints against the doctor concerned about wrong treatment which ultimately cost a priceless life.
After surgery, the doctor said that the surgery was successful and before he left the hospital, he directed the hospital authorities to keep the patient under lock and key. Nobody was allowed to see her in the ICU and she was pronounced dead at five in the morning. The actual time we may never know.
Who is going to find out the truth? There is no VIP among the relatives of Razia, otherwise we could see some activities from the authorities towards finding the truth.
All we want is justice after proper investigation into the matter.
